About the Role:
Activate Learning is seeking a highly organized and attentive individual to join our team as a Work Experience Coordinator. This permanent, part-time role (18 hours per week) is based at our Blackbird Leys Technology College.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 'Preparation for Placement' sessions to students, as well as progress tracking sessions throughout the academic year.
- Ensure all placements are accurately recorded on our work experience placement system.
- Proactively support students and employers throughout the placements, ensuring excellent outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Record learners' progress and complete necessary health and safety paperwork to ensure the workplace is compliant and safe for the learner.
Requirements:
- Strong administrative and IT skills, with experience in managing multiple tasks, tracking progress, and reprioritizing to achieve deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver inspirational individual or group sessions to learners.
- Empathy and confidence in supporting students to develop their work readiness/employability skills.
