Job Overview

Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team in Ware, Hertfordshire. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing engineering documents, 3D designs, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) in line with contracts and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the engineering team to design and develop mechanical products
  • Produce high-quality 3D designs using CAD software
  • Generate BOMs to accompany designs
  • Liaise with colleagues on engineering tasks as required

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of mechanical design
  • Engineering qualification in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar
  • Excellent 3D CAD skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining and fabrication
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Keen to develop with a company long-term
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
