About the Role
As a Junior Culinary Specialist, you will be an integral part of our dynamic culinary team, contributing to the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for various passenger classes. Your role is essential in ensuring we meet our commitment to excellence in inflight catering.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of meals according to established standards.
- Support senior chefs with various kitchen tasks and responsibilities.
- Collaborate effectively within a team-focused environment to deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to uphold health and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Adhere to best practices in health and safety throughout your work.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Relevant culinary qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 or 2 or NVQ Level 1 or 2.
- Previous experience in a catering environment as a Chef.
- Proficiency in knife skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, with the ability to perform manual tasks.
- Basic numeracy and English communication skills.
