Job Title: Apprentice Early Years/Nursery Practitioner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Phoenix Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging activities and developing strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and implement activities that promote child development and learning
  2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  3. Promote child welfare, protection, health, and safety
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and safe environment

Requirements:

  1. Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  2. Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator)
  3. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  4. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  5. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
