Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Major Recruitment Doncaster Industrial. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, and supporting our team in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick and pack stock accurately and efficiently, ensuring all relevant details are annotated and recorded.
  • Assist and support other departments within the warehouse as needed, maintaining a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the Inventory team, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, contributing to the growth and success of the team.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stock control environment, preferably with a strong understanding of inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
