About the Job

We are seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Technician to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on our fleet of HGV trailers.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on HGV trailers
• Conduct pre-MOT checks and undertake any necessary repairs
• Perform quality control tests and present trailers for MOTs
• General HGV Trailer Technician duties

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and HGV trailers
• HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
• Fully qualified HGV Trailer Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
• Double deck maintenance experience is desirable
• Welding experience is desirable
