Job Description

ISS Facility Services UK is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Capital Projects team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Projects in delivering the client's Capital Project plan, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Manage the delivery of the client's Investment Project Pipeline, including ad-hoc business-driven projects, upgrades, and improvement works.
  • Ensure all project works are managed effectively in line with ISS procedures and approved codes of practice and CDM requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate project files, including commercial processes and cost breakdowns, to ensure profitable project delivery.
  • Lead by example, motivating and engaging with key stakeholders and ISS teams across the client account.
  • Monitor project performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring accurate monthly reports and updates are delivered to the customer.
  • Promote a strong safety culture, adhering to company processes for risk assessment, training, safe working, accident reporting, and investigation.
Requirements
  • Experience in Facilities Management Project Management, preferably in industrial and manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record of managing programs of works and delivering projects on time and to budget.
  • Formal Project Management qualification, with awareness of utilities, energy management, and sustainability.
  • Knowledge of asset risk management and lifecycle planning.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A range of experience across project work, including CDM, customer service, and financial accountability.
