Job Title: Asset Management Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Lawyer to join our team at CV-Library. As an Asset Management Lawyer, you will play a key role in managing client/matter files, providing expert legal advice, and negotiating and drafting documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage client/matter files under supervision and ensure full compliance.
  • Provide expert legal advice to a range of clients, including negotiation and drafting of documentation.
  • Carry out legal proceedings in an effective, efficient, and timely manner to protect client interests.
  • Meet agreed KPIs and exhibit a commercial approach to financial management.
  • Help develop new business from existing clients and other professionals.
  • Commit to continued professional development in this specialist sector.
Requirements:
  • Positive approach to teamwork and ability to develop relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to a broad range of circumstances and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility and ambition.
  • Strong desire to learn and widen knowledge.
  • Ability to act independently to a reasonably high level, but also work with more experienced partners and fee earners on complex matters.
  • Experience of building relationships with clients and professionals, as well as promoting marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Good communication skills to explain legal matters clearly to clients.
  • Discretion and ability to respect client confidentiality.
  • Ability to tackle tasks in a structured manner to ensure completion to a high standard.
  • Solid organisation and time management skills.
  • Experience of working in a team and developing relationships with colleagues.
  • Proven drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Sound problem-solving skills.
