Job Title: Sous Events Lead Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Events Lead Chef to join our team at Host Staffing. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing and controlling food production and event preparation from our state-of-the-art production kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control food production and preparation for events.
  • Supervise a team of chefs on site.
  • Oversee ordering and staffing.
  • Ensure kitchen health and safety/hygiene standards are upheld.
  • Work on and lead events, mainly within London but occasionally outside of London.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with an event caterer, production kitchen, luxury hotel, or venue.
  • Previous experience with volume events is essential.
  • A background in high-end restaurants (ideally rosette level as a minimum) is desirable.
  • Excellent product and market knowledge of food trends and the London dining scene.
