Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing and directing all manufacturing activities, ensuring that production is compliant with policies and procedures, and driving continuous improvement of production, quality, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct all manufacturing activities, assisting with operational activities as needed.
- Manage KPIs, assess performance, and ensure cost and quality targets are met.
- Ensure production is compliant with policies and procedures, and ensure that all issues are addressed.
- Drive continuous improvement of production, quality, and overall performance.
- Work on developing budgets and resource plans.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure a smooth production implementation phase.
Requirements:
- Experienced operational/production manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
- Proven experience of leading teams and working with cross-functional departments.
- Ideal experience working in the Aerospace industry.
- Experience with all concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving.
