An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate senior pharmacist to join our expanding pharmacy team within the Central Integrated Health Community (CIHC).
The post is suited to a pharmacist looking to further develop their existing leadership and management skills. There is a strongly embedded multi-disciplinary culture where you'll be recognized and valued for your skills.
Main Duties of the JobYou will work collaboratively across the CIHC to provide a safe, effective, and highly valued pharmacy service. This post forms part of the pharmacy senior leadership team and plays an important role in delivering services that directly improve outcomes for patients.
You will lead on quality improvement initiatives within the CIHC and work closely with other pharmacy senior leaders across Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board to improve medication safety for patients.
Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to demonstrate compassionate leadership and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to plan and work independently as well as being part of a wider team.
You will act as the department's audit lead for medication safety issues, encourage audit and original research to support safe medication practice.
You will be the pharmacy representative for the CIHC Safer Medicines Practice Group and escalate medication safety issues to senior members of the CIHC leadership team.
