Key Responsibilities

  • Draft tender and contract documentation, inclusive of bills of quantities.
  • Conduct risk assessments, value management, and financial oversight.
  • Recognize, evaluate, and formulate strategies for commercial risks.
  • Prepare and scrutinize cost estimates for tenders.
  • Assign tasks to subcontractors and monitor their advancement.
  • Offer guidance on contractual disputes.
  • Assess completed work and coordinate payments.
  • Stay informed about various building contracts currently in use.
  • Comprehend the implications of health and safety regulations.
Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office, CostX, CATO).
  • Membership in a pertinent professional organization (e.g., RICS) is advantageous but not mandatory.
