Job Title: Adult Social Care Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Adult Social Care Officer to join our team at Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage care for a range of patients, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.

  • Provide dental care to special care patients, using local anaesthetic and patient management approaches to control pain and anxiety.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
People Management:
  • Supervise and support staff within the clinic, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Enable staff to develop and grow with the changing needs of the dental services, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintain your own professional development, participating in appraisal and job planning to ensure you remain up-to-date with best practices.
Clinical and Practice Governance:
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection policies, ensuring patient and staff records are secure and protected.
  • Participate in clinical and safeguarding audits, contributing to the improvement of patient care and outcomes.
  • Comply with infection control policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
General:
  • Safeguarding is a collective responsibility, and you will be expected to contribute to the protection of children and adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
  • Develop and maintain your role-relevant safeguarding competencies, adhering to local safeguarding partnerships and professional duty of care.
