About SHAL Housing
SHAL Housing is a not-for-profit community housing association with a mission to build and let homes for families and individuals who are homeless and in housing need. With approximately 770 homes across Somerset, they aim to develop new homes, improve existing ones, and work with partners and residents to create a sense of community within a sustainable environment.
Our Board
The SHAL board operates under a maximum tenure of six years, adhering to the National Housing Federation's Code of Governance. Currently, several board members are nearing the end of their terms, creating opportunities for new members to join.
What We're Looking For
We seek board members with professional experience in corporate governance, strategy, risk management, and succession planning. If you're interested in applying for the Chair of the Finance, Audit, and Risk Committee, please highlight this in your submission.
