Job Title: Site Manager

We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to oversee projects within the Southern Water framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage on-site operations for water infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Lead site teams, including subcontractors and trades, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Oversee day-to-day site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
  • Implement and maintain site safety protocols, fostering a safe working environment for all site personnel.
  • Manage site documentation, including permits, risk assessments, and progress reports.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally within the water or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate on-site teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working within joint venture environments is a plus.
