Lead Automation Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automation Software Engineer to join our team at Hyper Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering automation projects across various industries, including Brewing, Distilling, Pharmaceutical, and Food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist the Automation Software Manager in ensuring company and client Health & Safety standards are upheld.
  • Manage the operational activities of the Automation Software team, including resource allocation, recruitment, and training.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for automation aspects of projects, ensuring projects are delivered to specification and project program.
  • Assist with planning, including resourcing, budgets, technical guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Systems Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Extensive industry experience in Control System Engineering, preferably within the hygienic process industries.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, Batch, and DCS industrial control systems.
