We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our client's team in Birmingham or Warrington. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offering a unique opportunity to work on a variety of finance-related projects.
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for working with the client's existing ERP systems to deliver value-added solutions that shape and support business processes. Your expertise will be focused on the Purchase Ledger and E-invoicing modules.
The role will be hybrid, with regular visits to the client's site in either Birmingham or Warrington. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage and document system changes, and coordinate with third-party software partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering requirements for system changes and updating stakeholders
- Managing and documenting system changes through to implementation
- Coordinating with third-party software partners for system changes and escalations
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of changes to ensure they meet requirements
- Upgrade, service pack, and fix testing in line with policies
- Providing third-line support for business systems
- Assisting with the development of training materials
- Maintaining and configuring systems
Requirements:
- Strong business analysis experience in a similar role
- Experience of supporting ERP systems (e.g. COINS, Dynamics, Oracle, SAP)
- Experience working across business finance functions (e.g. purchase ledger, E-invoicing)
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong time management, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the House Building/Construction/Civils industries is desirable
