Ecommerce Software Programme Delivery Manager

Staffworx Limited, a UK-based recruitment consultancy, is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Software Programme Delivery Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global E-commerce, software & consulting sectors.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing complex end-to-end client software projects as a supplier, with at least 10-50 team members, ideally implementing ecommerce systems or other high availability / SaaS software architecture across multiple regions and brands.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for delivering high-profile ecommerce programmes, working closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, polished presentation skills, and the ability to forge strong relationships with clients who see them as a trusted advisor.

The role will involve managing the commercials / P&L, ensuring financial performance of programmes, and having a track record of advising and influencing customer decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience of hiring, managing, and coaching project delivery managers and delivery teams.

The Programme Manager will work closely with the delivery team to ensure the successful delivery of ecommerce programmes, and will be responsible for managing third-party SAAS, PAAS software vendors. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering using Agile software development methodology and have a track record of delivering ecommerce software programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex end-to-end client software projects as a supplier
  • Deliver high-profile ecommerce programmes
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and requirements
  • Manage the commercials / P&L
  • Ensure financial performance of programmes
  • Advise and influence customer decisions
  • Manage third-party SAAS, PAAS software vendors
  • Deliver using Agile software development methodology

Requirements:

  • Significant experience managing complex end-to-end client software projects as a supplier
  • Experience of delivering high-profile ecommerce programmes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Ability to forge strong relationships with clients
  • Experience of managing the commercials / P&L
  • Track record of advising and influencing customer decisions
  • Experience of hiring, managing, and coaching project delivery managers and delivery teams

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in programmes with multi-vendor delivery partners
  • Agile Scrum master, SAFe Agile delivery experience and/or qualifications
  • Experience working in a Continuous Delivery environment
  • Experience working in the professional services arm of an enterprise software vendor or in a services-oriented development organization inside a large enterprise
