Data Analyst, MI and Analytics Specialist

Job Summary:
A Data Analyst, MI and Analytics Specialist is required by a thriving insurance organisation based in the heart of the city. This role will see you joining a growing MI and Analytics team working on a range of projects to support business-critical decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement reports in Power BI to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions.
- Create user-friendly reports and dashboards that meet the needs of stakeholders and continuously improve them to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Error analysis and testing of data consistency and data quality, as well as corresponding documentation to ensure data integrity.
- Work closely with technical and non-technical colleagues to successfully deliver projects and meet business objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a data-driven role with proven ability in using Excel and/or business intelligence tools.
- Good Power BI knowledge and the Power BI Stack, with the ability to design and implement reports that meet business needs.
- Strong SQL skills (data extraction and enrichment using advanced functions) to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Solid foundational understanding of relational databases to ensure data integrity.
- Data quality and data exceptions handling to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills to ensure project delivery and meet business objectives.
- Creative, resourceful and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions.
