Position Overview: The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong capability to guide and assist team members in conducting thorough evaluations to ascertain eligibility for services. This role involves leading strategic discussions, overseeing staff performance, and acting in place of the Team Manager, which includes making critical decisions regarding new cases received by statutory social services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and support staff in their professional development.
  • Chair strategy meetings to facilitate effective decision-making.
  • Supervise team members and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and departmental policies.
  • Manage new referrals and assess their eligibility based on established criteria.

Compliance and Screening: A comprehensive pre-employment screening process will be conducted during recruitment. The selected candidate will be required to apply for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
