Part Time Receptionist Opportunity

Tate Hertfordshire is seeking a highly skilled and organized Part Time Receptionist to join our team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, administrative support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service to all users of the Music Centre, including face-to-face, email, and telephone interactions.
  • Support the Centre Business & Admin Manager, Regional Manager, and Music Development Lead in charge with administrative tasks, including message taking, registration paperwork, and scheduling.
  • Control entry access to the centre, ensuring all safeguarding requirements are met, and provide information and guidance to customers about the different musical activities of the centre.
  • Ensure all rooms are set up appropriately, manage pupils arriving for activities, and support the teaching staff with operational requirements.
  • Support the Centre Business & Admin Manager in managing centre health and safety responsibilities, including evacuation and first aid requirements.
  • Assist with concerts, celebration events, and music making days at the centre and other venues, including administration and payment processing.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and administration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, be organized, and efficient.
  • Previous customer service or administration/reception experience is an advantage.
  • Access to a vehicle for travel between locations.
