Physiotherapist Functional Assessor Role

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will work on complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life
  • Produce detailed reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with regular feedback and supervision

Requirements

  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
