About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Public Health Design Engineer to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our public health engineering consultancy, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing public health systems for a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of public health systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and sustainable solutions.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Public Health Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in public health design engineering, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
