Compensation: £13.00 per hour

We are looking for a skilled personal assistant to provide support for a mother with complex health needs. The family consists of three children aged twelve, five, and two, along with a cocker spaniel. The client experiences mobility challenges, memory issues, and a heart condition known as Sick Sinus Syndrome, which affects heart rhythm and can lead to fainting, palpitations, and fatigue. Additionally, the client deals with complex PTSD and a blood disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the client to medical appointments and ensure timely medication administration.
  • Assist with childcare activities, including outings to local parks and events suitable for children. On challenging days, help the client prepare the children for school, which may require early morning shifts.
  • Perform household duties such as laundry and general cleaning tasks.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, showering, and grooming.

Confidentiality is paramount in this role, and we seek an individual with a strong commitment to maintaining privacy.

Note: There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this position to be male or female, in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the Equality Act 2010.

Eligibility: The successful candidate must have the right to work in the U.K. at the start of employment.
