Geography ECT Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography ECT to join our supportive and collaborative Humanities Department. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated individual to develop their teaching skills and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.

Key Details:

  • Geography ECT position
  • Permanent role starting September 2024
  • MPS1 salary of £30,000
  • 'Good' secondary school in the Ward of Ladywood
  • ECT induction support provided

The successful candidate will benefit from comprehensive support and guidance throughout their ECT induction. Our experienced mentors and senior leadership team are committed to providing tailored support, including structured observation and feedback sessions, personalised professional development opportunities, and regular check-ins to ensure the ECT's growth and success.

Requirements:

  1. A relevant degree in Geography or a related field
  2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve QTS by September 2024

  4. Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
