Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent to provide one-to-one support to students with Autism and ADHD. The successful candidate will work with students who have been out of education for some time and require support with core subjects, Maths and English, at a lower level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the current ability of students and reintroduce education into their routine
  • Provide Maths and English support on a one-to-one basis
  • Work with students in a local library or their home environment
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with Prospero Teaching's team to ensure seamless support and progress

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEN or disengaged pupils
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Strong understanding of SEN and ability to think creatively
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate or willingness to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references
