Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Audiologist to join our small, friendly team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist audiological diagnostic testing, rehabilitation, and ear care services to patients. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through internal progression and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist audiological diagnostic testing, including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, acoustic reflex testing, and tympanometry.
  • Diagnose, fit, verify, and manage hearing impairment across a broad range of patients, recommending appropriate hearing aids from major manufacturers.
  • Assess, fit, and fine-tune the Lyric hearing aid, as well as provide clinical ear care services, including wax removal using instrumentation, irrigation, and micro-suction.
  • Facilitate digital hearing therapy and auditory training programs for patients with APD.
  • Support research and audit projects within the department, including support of other audiology and non-audiology staff in the performance of audits.
Requirements
  • MSc/BSc in audiology with clinical and commercial dispensing experience.
  • Competency and experience in micro suction (preferred but not essential).
  • HCPC registration is a must.
