Clinical Psychologist for Children in Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team, providing specialist clinical services to children and young people in care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with professionals, carers, and care-experienced children and young people to deliver evidence-based practice and support their emotional and mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical assessments and interventions for children and young people with emotional and mental health difficulties, including those with learning disabilities.
- Offer specialist clinical consultation and advice to carers and professionals working within children's services in Gloucestershire.
- Lead clinical practice within the team, undertaking clinical responsibility for a caseload involving complex and high-risk clinical formulation and decision-making.
- Collaborate with Trust and multi-agency partners to ensure effective care planning and risk management processes.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:
- Postgraduate Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Extensive experience in delivering evidence-based clinical interventions within CAMHS or related services and/or adult mental health settings.
