About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team at Adjusting Appointments Limited. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality design calculations for buildings insurance claims, including subsidence, fire, impact, flooding, and storm damage.
  • Conduct site visits for residential and commercial building projects to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead small to medium design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and meet monthly targets.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Associate Director, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities to enhance our services and stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements:

  • Good degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (essential).
  • 2 years post-graduate design experience (essential).
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including software and hardware.
  • A general understanding of building structures and materials, including steel, masonry, concrete, and timber.
  • MICE or MIStructE (desirable).
