**Job Summary**

Techniche Global Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Safety Case Principal and Senior Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to inform and direct policies, projects, and programmes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Project Delivery: Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure that nuclear safety requirements are incorporated into design projects.
  • Nuclear Safety Input: Prepare and agree the Safety Case Strategy, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Technical Expertise: Produce, verify, and approve calculations, analyses, design basis documentation, and technical reports.
  • Hazard Identification: Lead and participate in Hazard Identification studies to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Safety Submission: Coordinate the production of the safety submission, including all specialist safety input, and support submissions through the various review and approval stages.
  • Design Changes: Review and approve design changes, concessions, and technical queries to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
  • Project Risks: Manage project risks by closing out safety items on the Technical Issues and Risk Register Database.
  • Quality Plans: Raise quality plans for single discipline work packages to ensure that technical requirements are met.
  • Technical Scopes: Produce, verify, and approve technical Scopes of Work, assessing tender returns, and verifying/assessing and/or approving the outputs to ensure that the requirements of the design sub-contract are met.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in nuclear safety and technical leadership.
  • Strong technical expertise in safety case development and hazard identification.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
