We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Physiologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a wide range of neurophysiological investigations, including EEG, Nerve Conduction studies, and Evoked Potentials.
Main Responsibilities- Plan, perform, and interpret neurophysiological investigations to ensure high technical and professional standards.
- Collect and analyze patient data to enable accurate and efficient interpretative analysis of tests.
- Obtain clinical histories and modify tests accordingly.
- Provide accurate and timely reports in accordance with departmental policy.
- Liaise with senior staff to resolve equipment, database, or software issues.
- Attend educational and scientific meetings to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory, professional, and personal development requirements.
- Maintain quality control procedures and develop unified quality standards for the service.
- Contribute to the implementation of clinical governance frameworks and perform audits to monitor and improve service quality.
- Manage financial resources efficiently and effectively.
- Participate in research, clinical trials, and publications, and collaborate with other departments as needed.
- BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology or BSc (Hons) Healthcare Science (Neurophysiology) or equivalent specialist training.
- Experience of performing clinical EEG during work placements.
