About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team at bet365. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a key part in the processing of payments to satisfy requirements and obligations within our multiple legal entities.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing of payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Liaise with various banking partners to resolve payment queries and discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to confirm payment statuses and assist with accounts coding.
- Support the development of payments processes and procedures.
- Complete client account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Contribute to ongoing projects relating to the payments function.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- Studying towards AAT or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Experience in payment processing and reconciliation.
- Proactive and organized, with excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel functions and software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
