Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee production and material planning to guarantee adherence to the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Manage forecasting and planning processes, aligning with our sales and operations planning (S&OP) framework.
- Engage in monthly S&OP meetings, providing essential insights and contributions to production planning discussions.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet critical delivery timelines, ensuring on-time-in-full (OTIF) shipments.
- Effectively manage engineering changes to mitigate obsolescence risks.
- Strive to minimize work-in-progress (WIP) by optimizing lead times for sub-assemblies.
- Maintain accurate control over inventories, WIP, and waste, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Uphold high standards of housekeeping and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing context.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, preferably IFS.
- Demonstrated ability to produce and monitor master schedules for production.
- Experience in multi-level planning, particularly involving MRP/MPS systems.
- Strong skills in stock control and inventory management.
- Proficient in IT, with advanced capabilities in software applications, including Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborative mindset, with a willingness to support team efforts and initiatives.
