About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Ferndown District Nursing team as a Community Healthcare Assistant.

The successful candidate will be required to visit patients in their own homes, providing clinical care under the supervision and support of the team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing evidence-based, high-quality, holistic nursing care for patients in their own homes
  • Following instructions from the team leader or nominated deputy to undertake care according to the needs of the patients as identified on the care plan
  • Working as part of a team to provide comprehensive care to patients in their own homes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good communication skills and a passion for caring for patients in their own homes
  • Experience of clinical work in the community (desirable but training will be offered to the successful applicant)
  • Access to a car with a valid driving license
