Position: Lead Technical Underwriter

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the management team to enhance and refine underwriting guidelines and policies. Actively contribute to improving the underwriting process, minimizing leakage, and ensuring a superior customer experience. Leverage data analytics to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for enhancement in underwriting practices and pricing strategies. Serve as a mentor and coach to foster the development of underwriting personnel, ensuring a uniform approach and conducting peer reviews to facilitate learning among Technical Underwriters. Partner with the Reporting & Pricing Analyst to create innovative analytical tools and methodologies. Ensure alignment of contractual and policy documentation with company standards, in accordance with our underwriting strategy. Collaborate closely with QGU, Legal & Claims to ensure that wordings align with underwriting intentions. Work alongside the Head of Technical Underwriting to spearhead the innovative development of new and existing products and services.
