Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our Surrey-based pubs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to design and deliver new menus and daily specials.
  • Maintain effective controls regarding food costs and labour.
  • Provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Contribute to the development of new dishes and menus, and participate in menu tastings and feedback sessions.
  • Assist with kitchen administration tasks, such as ordering and stock control.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef, with a passion for producing high-quality food.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive approach to driving sales and delivering growth.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
