The Queen's Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Tournament & Events Coordinator. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of our prestigious club, where you will play a pivotal role in organizing and executing a variety of social events for our members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Take charge of the Member Social Event Calendar, ensuring a diverse range of innovative events while preserving beloved traditions.
  • Communication Management: Oversee event communications through various platforms, including the website and internal communication tools.
  • On-Site Coordination: Assist with event setup and administration on the day of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and welcoming members as they arrive.
  • Database Management: Become proficient in the Jonas database system for managing online events, ticketing, and member bookings.
  • Member Interaction: Provide timely responses to member inquiries regarding social events, collaborating closely with the Food & Beverage team.
  • Sports Administration Support: Assist the Sports Administrator with various tasks, including creating promotional materials and managing sports fixtures.

Tournament Support:

Provide assistance to the Tournament and Events Department during the ticketing launch for members, ensuring a clear understanding of all tournament-related rules and processes. You will be responsible for addressing member queries throughout the tournament season, delivering friendly and accurate service.

Administrative Duties:

Support the team in the setup and execution of the Championships, focusing on tasks such as:

  • Managing hospitality sales
  • Coordinating guest badge allocation
  • Overseeing digital ticketing for members and staff
  • Handling ticket transactions and managing waiting lists
  • Assisting with the design of the Members' Enclosure
  • Organizing the Members' Championships Party

This role may require you to lead the Tournament & Events team during peak periods, including long hours during the Championships.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative capacity, showcasing organizational skills and adaptability.
  • A willingness to work in a collaborative, hands-on environment while also being capable of independent task management.
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor when interacting with members.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
