About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our New Client Administration team at DAC Beachcroft. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of our financial crime policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for reviewing and verifying information provided in new client acceptance forms, conducting comprehensive customer due diligence reviews, and escalating AML and sanctions issues in accordance with internal processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify information provided in new client acceptance forms to ensure compliance with our financial crime policies and procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive customer due diligence reviews and analysis of information to establish the corporate structure of a client.
  • Evaluate and escalate AML and sanctions issues in accordance with internal processes.
  • Participate in financial crime working groups and wider OGC team discussions.
  • Support the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (and Deputies) to resolve any AML concerns.
Requirements
  • Graduate level (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations.
  • Previous experience of working in a risk and compliance function is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload.
  • Good IT skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
