About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Digital Content Manager to join our Marketing & Communications team. As a Digital Content Manager, you will be responsible for delivering user-centred content for our website and other digital channels.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, create, edit, and upload news, stories, blogs, features, and videos for our website and digital channels.
- Write news stories about projects, edit blogs, and help write clear and accessible funding guidance.
- Conduct interviews and ensure a strategic approach to content, meeting the team's aims and objectives.
- Lead content projects and act as communications lead on different campaigns and activations.
- Collaborate with other members of the Marketing & Communications team and colleagues from different departments.
- Support the maintenance and development of our websites and digital channels.
- Ensure the website is compliant with accessibility standards and retains the Shaw Trust accreditation.
- Promote adherence to our style guide for all digital content.
We offer a flexible working approach, with most employees working from their contracted Heritage Fund office twice a week at minimum. Time spent on site visits to projects or other meetings based at another Heritage Fund or external office are counted as part of those two days.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent content creation and editing skills.
- Experience in digital content management and creation.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and web development.
