Role of the Homecare WorkerAs a Homecare Worker with Nurseplus, you will play a vital role in supporting clients in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include providing companionship, administering medication, assisting with nutritional needs, and delivering personal care. You will also be required to adhere to individual care plans and work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
What We Offer- Flexible shifts to suit your needs, including full or part-time, days, nights, and weekends
- Minimum 2-hour call length
- Competitive pay rates from £12.30 to £20.17 per hour, with weekly pay
- Free training, including the Care Certificate
- Ongoing support and development opportunities, including in-house courses and funded qualifications
- Annual pay increase
- Eligibility to apply for a Blue Light card, offering thousands of discounts online and on the high street
- You must be over 18 to apply
- Have the right to work in the UK
- At least 6 months of UK-based care experience
- A full UK driving license, with travel expenses covered up to 50p per mile
- A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
- An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration (cost of £45.40, refunded after a set period of work)
