Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Trials Administrator to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering clinical research studies in various departments, including intensive care, emergency, and hyperacute stroke units.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with trial monitors and study coordinators from external companies/trial centers
  • Ensure all biological samples are sent to relevant trial laboratories, with supervision
  • Assist research teams in completing case report forms for clinical trial units
  • Answer queries generated by trial centers on CRF data
  • Assist with close-out visits and archiving of trial material
  • Perform general administrative duties
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good understanding of clinical trial procedures and methodology
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice
  • Experience working with patient data in a clinical trial or healthcare research setting
