Job Overview

The Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of physical disabilities and conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy plans to meet the unique needs of each child, working closely with parents, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop targeted interventions to improve physical function and mobility.
  3. Provide education and support to parents and carers on how to promote their child's physical development and independence.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and coordination, and to promote the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in paediatric physiotherapy, and incorporate this knowledge into your practice to ensure the highest standards of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy or a related field, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Significant experience working with children and young people with physical disabilities and conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with parents, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care, and a passion for promoting the best possible outcomes for our patients.
