About the Role

We are seeking a Higher Learning Teaching Assistant to join our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department, supporting pupils with learning difficulties. The successful candidate will provide a calm and motivational environment for our students, assisting with everyday, hands-on caring for one of our students who is wheelchair bound and diagnosed with motor sensory neuropathy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support with feeding, ventilation, and use of hoist
  • Assist with toileting and other personal care needs
  • Work collaboratively with the student's care team to ensure their needs are met
