About the Role:
Katherine Shields Private Staff Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Live-Out Housekeeper/Cook to join our team. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the home, as well as preparing delicious meals and snacks for the family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the home in a clean and tidy condition, including laundry, ironing, and household chores
- Prepare and cook meals and snacks for the family, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences
- Assist with the care and supervision of the two children, including morning school drop off and occasional coverage of unplanned sick days
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for the children, promoting their physical, emotional, and educational development
- Communicate effectively with the family and other household staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient household operation
- Take initiative to anticipate and meet the family's needs, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to your work
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Live-Out Housekeeper/Cook or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Excellent cooking skills, with the ability to prepare a variety of meals and snacks
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Discreet and professional demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
