Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Enforcement Officer to join our team at Apcoa Parking. As a Senior Environmental Enforcement Officer, you will play a key role in enforcing local laws to protect the local neighbourhood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Environmental Enforcement Officers both on the ground and via reports to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Examine reports of littering, fly tipping, dog fouling, and other similar offences to identify areas for improvement.
  • Respond to complaints regarding local environmental quality and anti-social behaviour, providing effective solutions to resolve issues.
  • Supervise and direct staff to ensure the correct number of Environmental Enforcement Officers are deployed as per agreed service levels and contractual conditions.
  • Conduct back to work interviews and maintain attendance levels within your teams.
  • Cascade knowledge to all members of staff and maintain good communications throughout the contract.
  • Ensure overall client approval and attend training courses where required.
  • Work closely with the Waste Management Manager and Environmental Health Manager to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  • At least one year's experience of working in a supervisory post serving clients.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Experience of environmental enforcement and services.
  • Experience of carrying out awareness raising/public relations work.
  • Reliable and capable of dealing with possibly tough people/situations.
  • Full clean driving licence (preferable).

What We Offer:

You will receive a competitive salary of £29,120 per annum, working full-time hours of 40 hours per week, covering any 5 from 7 days. You will also have access to benefits including pension and employee discount scheme, as well as a full all-weather uniform and ongoing training and development opportunities.
