Exciting Opportunity for a Construction Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled construction lawyer to join our team at Arbuthnot Yon, a leading business in the West Midlands. As a construction lawyer, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our net zero ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on high-profile infrastructure projects, including the construction of new substations, overhead line and underground cable routes, and offshore cable projects.
  • Form part of an established high-calibre team and work closely with the business and the legal team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of contracts, including NEC and FIDIC.
  • Support post-completion in the operation of contracts.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years PQ experience in construction law.
  • Experience of NEC contracts is required, with FIDIC experience being a plus.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure projects and net zero ambitions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
