Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Tax Associate to join our Tax Team. This role involves assisting with the preparation of all Indirect and Employment Tax-related analyses, tax returns, reclaims, and other tax documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct tax analysis of expense accounts for inclusion in the PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA).
- Assist in preparing claims and reconciliations for Alcoholic Ingredients Relief.
- Support Global Mobility tracking and the collection of tax return information.
- Contribute to the preparation of Plastic Packaging Tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with Off-Payroll Working legislation (IR35).
- Assist with the Senior Accounting Officer process, including review and reporting procedures.
- Help with data collection for HMRC inquiries and Group requests.
- Provide general tax administration support for the team.
Key Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience in a finance or tax-related environment.
- Familiarity with VAT return processes, basic VAT legislation, and payroll/employment tax is desirable.
