About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Gap Personnel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading vehicles with precision and care
  • Verifying and recording the delivery of items, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Moving stock to designated storage locations, maintaining a high level of organization and cleanliness
  • Recording all physical stock movements into our ERP system, identifying and investigating any discrepancies
  • Operating various pallet handling machinery, including pallet trucks and reach trucks
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant safety procedures and regulations
  • Lifting and moving heavy objects, up to 25kgs, using provided lifting aids when necessary
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a production or warehouse environment
  • A good general standard of education, with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional nights
  • A current Reach Truck license, or willingness to obtain one
  • Knowledge of Sage X3 software system, or experience with similar ERP systems
