Job Description

**Job Summary**

JEM Childcare Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee one of our busy nurseries in Bedford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children, while also leading and supporting our team of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and education to children
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and education provided, making recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including Ofsted requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years/Childcare
  • At least 3 years' experience of working in a Day Nursery
  • At least 2 years' experience of leading and supporting teams
  • Ability to inspire, energize, and support others
  • Passion and excitement for working with children and helping others learn
  • Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations
  • Firm knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements
