We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited. The successful candidate will be working on a range of high-end residential and commercial projects, utilizing their expertise in structural analysis and design.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a consultancy environment. They will be proficient in software such as AutoCAD and Revit, and have excellent communication skills to liaise with professionals and agree on safe designs.
The role will involve completion of beam and column calculations, structural analysis, and sketching for visualizations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for making drawings, specifications, and computer models of structures for building contractors.
Key Responsibilities- Completion of beam and column calculations
- Structural analysis
- Sketching for visualizations
- Make drawings, specifications, and computer models of structures for building contractors
- Liaise with professionals to agree on safe designs
- Develop construction plans
- Ensure team members understand tasks and timescales before starting
- MSc/MEng qualified in relevant Civil/Structural Engineering discipline
- Graduate Member of the ICE or IStructE working towards chartered status
- Minimum of 4 years' experience
- Experience with a mix of projects
- Software experience – AutoCAD, Revit is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
